What is soft washing?
Soft washing cleans roofs with low-pressure water and a biocidal treatment instead of high-pressure jets. The treatment kills moss, algae and lichen at the root, so the roof stays clean longer — and tiles aren't stripped, cracked or forced out of place.
Will roof cleaning damage my tiles?
Not when it's done properly. High-pressure jet washing can damage tiles and void warranties, which is why we soft wash instead. The low-pressure method is safe for concrete tiles, clay tiles and slate.
How long does a roof clean take?
Most homes take between half a day and a full day, depending on roof size, how heavy the moss growth is, and access. We'll give you a clear time estimate with your quote.
Do you clean gutters as well?
Yes — gutter cleaning, fascia and soffit cleaning can be booked on their own or added to any roof clean. Clearing gutters at the same time stops moss debris from blocking your downpipes.
